Consequences & Discipline System
Enforce boundaries your way
Three consequence types for different situations: timer-based tasks require active participation (corner time, writing lines), restrictions are passive time-periods (no screen time until Sunday), and administered consequences are carried out by the dominant directly. Timers and administered punishments can require photo proof; restrictions track logged violations. Punishments can also be assigned on their own when a task, ritual, streak goal, or proof request is missed. A Premium feature; any partner's Premium unlocks it.
Consequences give structure to discipline. Without them, boundaries are suggestions. With them, both partners know exactly what happens when expectations aren't met, and what good follow-through earns.

In most D/s dynamics, consequences are discussed but rarely formalized. Partners agree on rules, but when those rules are broken, the response is improvised: inconsistent at best, forgotten at worst. Kneel's consequence system changes this by making discipline a shared, transparent process. Dominants build a library of punishments of three kinds: a timer, a restriction, or one the Dominant administers. Each has a description and an optional severity. Timers run for up to two hours, restrictions end on a date or stay until lifted, and timers and administered punishments can require a photo as proof. When a consequence is assigned, the submissive receives it with full context: what it is, why it was given, how long it lasts, and whether photo verification is required. Both partners can see active consequences, completed ones, and the history over time. The tracking removes doubt about what was assigned and what was done.
Capabilities
Timer Tasks
Active participation consequences with a timer of up to 120 minutes. The sub starts it and must run the full duration.
Restrictions
Time-limited or indefinite restrictions. The Dominant can lift one early and log violations on an honor basis.
Administered
Consequences the dominant carries out directly, logged and tracked alongside the rest.
Photo Verification
Timer and administered punishments can require photo proof. Review it, then verify or reject.
Severity Levels
Categorize consequences as minor, moderate, or severe. Build a graduated discipline system.
Violation Tracking
Log restriction violations with notes. Track patterns over time.
Library System
Save frequently-used consequences to your library. Assign with one tap.
Punishment & rewards jar
Spin a random draw from your punishment library or reward catalog, then assign or gift the result. Filter the draw by severity or cost, and keep a punishment out of the jar so a draw never picks it.
Automatic punishments
A task or ritual can carry a punishment that is assigned on its own when it is missed. One miss can assign more than one punishment.
Hidden library
Hide the punishment library from the submissive if you prefer. Punishments assigned to them still show up.

Role Perspectives
For Dominants
Structure your discipline approach with clear consequences.
- Build a library of consequences matched to specific behaviors
- Assign a timer, a restriction, or an administered consequence
- Verify completion with photo proof when needed
- Track violation patterns to adjust your approach
For Submissives
Clear expectations for when boundaries are tested.
- Know exactly what's expected during consequences
- Timer shows progress toward completion
- Restrictions have clear end dates (or are indefinite)
- Photo proof ensures your effort is seen
Use Cases
Corner time: 15-minute timer with photo verification
Writing lines: Timer-based task with submission of completed work
Screen restriction: No social media until the weekend
Service requirement: Extra chores until further notice
