Smart Notifications

The right nudge at the right time

Configurable push notifications keep both partners connected without being overwhelming. Ritual reminders, task deadlines, request alerts, and check-in prompts arrive based on your preferences. Control exactly what you hear about and when. Lock-screen previews hide private details, and notifications arrive in your app language.

A dynamic that lives in an app only works if the app reaches out at the right moments. Notifications are the bridge between Kneel and daily life. Without them, rituals get forgotten and requests go unseen.

Capabilities

Per-Feature Control

Task reminders, ritual reminders, check-in prompts, partner activity, shared notes, instant requests and subscription alerts each have their own switch.

Time-Sensitive Delivery

Instant requests arrive as time-sensitive notifications and still come through during quiet hours. Other notifications use standard priority.

iPhone widgets and Live Activity

On iPhone, home screen widgets show today's ritual and task progress, the chastity lock and days count, today's mood check-in, and points with the top ritual streak. A running timer punishment shows as a Live Activity on the lock screen.

Ritual Reminders

A reminder about 15 minutes before a ritual's time. A task with a reminder set gets one at the lead time chosen on the task.

Partner Activity

Get notified when your partner completes tasks, submits check-ins, or requests something.

Quiet Hours

Set quiet hours, including overnight windows in your timezone. Notifications raised during quiet hours are held until they end; a new instant request still comes through.
